Life Drawing

Life drawing can be an both an incredibly intimate, educational and artistically challenging.

It brings elements of true human connection in all their vulnerability and empowerment whilst allowing the artist to understand more about the human. Anatomically and emotionally.

In one of my first life drawing sessions I cried whilst drawing a lady who really expanded my concept of beauty from one of narrow societal expectations to a more all encompassing ideal of femininity and beauty.

“A Charming Class”

Graham, life drawing attendee

We provide an inclusive, professional setting where people are free to experience the beauty in life drawing, meet new people and enhance their natural drawing abilities in a place where there is no pressure to produce and all style of art is welcome.

Art is also an opportunity to express our inner most worlds even when drawing something observationally. We can better understand ourselves in the way we interpret the model in front of us.

Based in Dorchester, at the Corn exchange. A beautiful large hall that can comfortably occupy up to 30 artists.

    2. I am very very keen to join this group as a participant. I have obviously missed a couple of sessions. I am keen to expand my personal portrait style of sketching and alsoert new people. Would it be ok to start from 21 February?
